Vets on Fire is a podcast and organization committed to advancing the mental health and well-being of veterinarians. Through evidence-based information, open dialogue, and a supportive community, we aim to destigmatize mental health issues, equip veterinarians with the tools and resources to address their own mental health needs, promote a culture of wellness and resilience, advocate for policies that prioritize the mental health of veterinarians, raise awareness about the systemic issues and challenges facing the veterinary profession, and empower veterinarians to advocate for change and create a more supportive and sustainable work environment.
Dr. Sarah Webb is a passionate veterinarian dedicated to fostering a healthier and more sustainable future for the veterinary profession. Graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2022, Dr. Webb is committed to raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by veterinarians, including heavy workloads, emotional distress, and burnout. Through her work, she aims to empower veterinarians to prioritize their mental health, seek support when needed, and advocate for change within the industry.
